Responsibilities: --- Maintain databases, records, and bookkeeping, ensuring all paperwork is up to date --- Determine new customers' insurance needs, desires, insurance risk, prior coverage, and financial standing via booked consultations to ensure the best client experience possible --- Grow new business by generating a prospective customer base and advertise our insurance products via networking, asking for referrals, cold calling, and other marketing strategies --- Address existing and prospective customer requests in a prompt and friendly matter, including booking new meetings and responding to inquiries regarding billing, eligibility, coverage, claims, and insurance policies --- Aid policyholders with the insurance claims process while supervising the progress of current insurance claims --- Meeting and contacting new potential clients to discuss financial concerns and needs --- Conducting information-gathering meetings with clients --- Analyzing client needs and presenting potential solutions --- Providing ongoing service to clients --- Developing and implementing personal business and marketing plans --- On-going development of professional skills and knowledge Qualifications: --- Possesses outstanding interpersonal and communication skills --- Customer service or experience as a sales representative are highly valued --- Background in the health insurance or life insurance industries preferred --- Skilled with Microsoft Office --- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred About Company: New York Life, established in 1845, is one of the most respected and successful companies in America and internationally.
