We are looking for a life insurance agent with amazing customer service skills to join our fast-growing insurance agency and help our clients achieve their financial goals. You'll serve on the front lines of insurance sales, helping new customers navigate our products, processing claims and inquiries, and developing an ever-growing lead list to secure new business. Responsibilities: --- Aid policyholders with the insurance claims process while supervising the progress of current insurance claims --- Onboard incoming and retain existing clients via a variety of customer service tasks, such as appointment booking, and responding to inquiries regarding billing, coverage, eligibility, and insurance policies --- Maintain databases, records, and bookkeeping, ensuring all paperwork is up to date --- Grow new business by generating a prospective customer base and advertise our insurance products via networking, asking for referrals, cold calling, and other marketing strategies --- Determine new customers' insurance needs, desires, insurance risk, prior coverage, and financial standing via booked consultations to ensure the best client experience possible --- Meeting and contacting new potential clients to discuss financial concerns and needs --- Conducting information-gathering meetings with clients --- Analyzing client needs and presenting potential solutions --- Providing ongoing service to clients --- Developing and implementing personal business and marketing plans --- On-going development of professional skills and knowledge Qualifications: --- Must have graduated high school or received GED, a Bachelor's degree is desired --- Client service experience as a sales representative a plus --- Active Life & Health insurance license is a strong bonus --- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products --- Previous health insurance or life insurance experience a plus About Company: New York Life, established in 1845, is one of the most respected and successful companies in America and internationally.
