Youth Program Lead: Helps with planning and implementing program activities for youth and adults that are relevant, appropriate, fun, challenging, promotes teamwork and sportsmanship that is consistent with YMCA values. Works with the Youth & Family Program Coordinator to implement existing and new Youth & Family programs. Makes recommendations regarding programs and equipment. Assists the Youth & Family Program Coordinator to provide direct leadership to all Youth and Family Program Staff. This position will also be On Call to find a replacement or fill in when the Youth & Family Program Staff are unable to work. Assists with special programs including rentals, parties, Healthy Kids Day, Easter Eggstravaganza, Spooky School Bus, and other special events. Be available answer children's, parent's and caregiver's questions as needed. Youth programs include: Climbing Wall, Basketball, Gymnastics, Interest Clubs, and many more! Pay & Benefits: $14.00/hour Year-round position Various shifts/flexible schedule: 20-30 hours/week Must be present during program times School Year: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-11:00am & 3:00pm-7:00pm, 1-2 Saturdays/month Summer: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm No nights or weekends All employees receive a free YMCA membership!
