We are looking for a Yardman to ensure the appropriate material is loaded/received by every customer as well as maintain the stock and presentation of products in the yard. QUALIFICATIONS OF A YARDMAN High school diploma or equivalent required CDL preferred but not required Position requires confidence and experience working with customers REQUIREMENTS OF A YARDMAN Self-starter that is capable of completing tasks with minimal supervision Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines Quick learner Decision making ability Ability to participate effectively as a team member Ability to work a flexible schedule, possibly Saturdays Industry knowledge and experience is a plus Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and willingness to roll up sleeves and get the job done RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Meet and greet contractors and residential customers while providing exceptional customer service Handling and storage of stock products outdoors in yard and storage areas Loading aggregates for customers and bins for concrete The operation of the loader and tow motor Maintain a clean, visually appealing yard (exterior) to company Cleaning Guidelines Assist Plant manager with maintaining accurate inventory results throughout the year for the yard and storage areas Upkeep including landscaping, mowing, snow removal, weed trimming/removal and track pickup Help behind the sales counter as needed Maintain an environment that ensures great customer service Possible local aggregate deliveries Participate at Sidley sponsored training Act as backup to Plant Manager as needed Additional duties as required Do you have a strong work ethic?
