Chemsolv is now hiring Class A CDL Drivers for: Yard Driver / Yard Switcher Job duties for the Class A CDL Yard Driver include: Switch staged trailer throughout plant premises as needed/scheduled Perform the daily safety checks of equipment Properly secure loads for safe transport Inspect truck equipment for DOT compliance and ensure that repair notices are given to management Follow all applicable traffic laws Double check tanker trailers to ensure that compartments and clean, dry and odor free Verify that the tanker is properly chalked and grounded when unloading Assist in the weighing in and out of bulk tankers on the truck weigh scales Wear the proper safety equipment Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
