DESCRIPTION Lead by example while creating a place for people to be discipled in relevant environments and purposed community. Work alongside a worship director in a key leadership role at a Tree Church campus, engaging with the day-to-day work of maintaining and investing in a worship culture. CORE Member The Worship Leader Resident must be a CORE Member in good standing. At any point, if the Resident fails to meet the standards of CORE Membership, their employment can be terminated. Embodying Good Work Ethic At The Tree, we are passionate about staff community and staff work ethic. We are highly relational, and we work hard. Like all ministries, there are busy seasons and seasons when we are able to catch our breath, but we have set a culture that doesn’t shy away from hard work. Just as seriously as we take hard work, we also highly value rest; and for that reason, we take every Friday and Saturday off. It’s also worth noting that the atmosphere at The Tree is to help out, even if it isn’t in our job description. SOME KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and promote the vision of The Tree Church in many locations Assist in fostering a strong culture of worship at a Tree Church campus Assist the Worship Director in all weekly responsibilities Implement and foster a culture of excellence within your campus Learn to recruit, train, and build a worship team Lead and disciple the people on the worship team Learn to coordinate and organize worship experiences from strategy to planning to execution Build relationships with members of the worship team and church Responsible for planning, organizing, and spiritually leading multiple worship experiences on weekends and at other events WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO IS: High character and integrity individual Passionate about the vision of The Tree Talented and have strong musical experience with keys, guitar, or other instruments Organized and efficient, especially with time management An excellent communicator, both orally and written A multi-tasking team player with high energy, strong interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude YOU’RE OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE IF: Experienced in building and leading a team Familiar with Ableton or other DAWs and have mad multi-media skills The vision of the local church has already impacted you in a profound way
