We are currently looking to recruit for a Workshop HGV fitter to work in our new state of the art facility in Tamworth. The Marshall Fleet Solutions offering is a truly one-stop shop to manage all fleet related items. We work with our customers to ensure they operate a fully managed and legally compliant fleet of commercial vehicles & trailers; this opportunity is to work from our flagship depot based in Tamworth to maintain a large customer fleet of trailers. Overview of the role is to carry out service, maintenance, MOT preparation and presentation to authorized testing facility (ATF) in the local area, fault diagnosis and repairs to a fleet of circa 100+ trailers. Training will be provided to ensure safety, safe working, compliance, business operations, maintenance of equipment i. e. BPW, as required. Fully conversant with the following Government documents. Heavy goods vehicle (HGV) inspection manual Guide to maintaining roadworthiness. Communicate with our customers and meet their various requests. Advise customers on product or service issues with their fleet i. e. problem-solving. Put customer satisfaction at the very top of your priority list. Process customer transactions and keep records of activity. Handle maintenance issues within the pre agreed service plan. Meet operational customer expectations for telephone and email communication. Build trusted relationships with all customers. Manage efficient document flow of all customer interactions.
