Project Overview: Bechtel is building a semiconductor manufacturing plant in New Albany, Ohio. We are partnering with the North America Building Trades Unions and suppliers to create several thousand new jobs and work with local education organizations to implement new training programs that will support the future talent pipeline. Bechtel Manufacturing and Technology, Inc. offers engineering, procurement, and construction services for customers in the semiconductor manufacturing, electric vehicle, and data center markets. Headquartered in Reston, Virginia, the M and T global business unit also includes colleagues working in Arizona, Ohio, Texas, India, and additional project locations around the world. Position Summary: Responsible for administration and Craft Professional skills assessments on projects, for administering Bechtel's Capabilities Assessment Program (CAP), and participating in the set up and maintenance of training facilities.Lead and administer upskilling and training to Craft Professional employees on:site and coordinate with Union training centers. Supervise team of trainers and set priorities for CAP and Workforce Development being aligned with Project needs and Site Management. LI:AM3 Job Dimensions: Supervision Received : Receives operational supervision from a Senior Labor Relations (LR) Manager or an Labor Relations Manager.Supervision Exercised : Supervises project trainers, CAP Supt., and/or WFD Coordinator or Administrator(s).Contacts : Has regular contact with the Craft Professional workforce and/or general public.: Has regular contact with Union Training Centers and their staff: Regularly interfaces with Labor Relations, Employee Health and Safety, and Construction Management. Responsibilities: : Supervises project trainers and/or WFD administrator(s).: Ensures that the training and assessment programs are consistent with the CAP guidelines and procedures.: Ensures alignment with Site Management and Supervision regarding training and skill assessment priorities.: Provides guidance to site Site Management for training to all levels of Craft Professionals, including apprentices, journeyman, foreman and general foreman.: Oversees/performing capability assessments via the CAP Program.: Performs Project specific administration of the craft training and certification program on projects, ensuring the company remains in strict compliance with Project specific regulations.: Responsible for project training facility layout, resource allocation, set:up and maintenance.: Participate in the selection of evaluators/trainers.: Coordinates with onboarding and Craft Professional Requisition process to ensure required capabilities and skills are tracked and included in new empl
