The ideal candidate must be barred in MD and PA and have experience in insurance defense, workers' compensation, and/or personal injury. They should have a strong understanding of MD and PA workers' compensation laws and regulations, with experience in employer liability claims considered a plus. The candidate should possess strong academic credentials, excellent research, writing, and communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Duties:Represent clients in workers' compensation cases in MD and PA.Handle insurance defense and personal injury cases as needed.Conduct legal research and analysis related to workers' compensation laws and regulations.Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance companies.Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on workers' compensation matters.Work collaboratively with other attorneys and support staff. Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Admitted to practice law in MD and PA.2+ years of experience in Worker's Compensation and Employers' Liability.Strong understanding of MD and PA workers' compensation laws and regulations.Experience with insurance defense and personal injury cases.Licensure in other jurisdictions is a plus.Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
