Sales Representative Outgoing Beer Sales Person Complete State Coverage - Wisconsin Job Posting Dates: Open 9/11, 2017 Closed 10/2/2017 Duties: Work directly with Lift Bridge Brewery distributors and their sales staff in his/her territory to promote Lift Bridge Products and Sales. Focus on making sales calls at potential and existing accounts and building mutually beneficial relationships with customers. Oversee special events in their market area including commitment to participation in the beer related special events and logistical coordination between the distributor and the event staff and attendance and representation on behalf of the brewery. Utilize "VIP" reporting system to continually monitor sales and goals, as well as use of "Karma" notes to report all customer interactions and sales calls. Oversee secondary staff of Beer Ambassadors to help execute tasting events in sales territory. Focus on familiarity with the Milwaukee and Madison market, but knowledge of other Wisconsin areas is a plus. Must haves: Appreciation for craft beer and desire to build a career in sales for a local, high quality, and fast growing Brewery. 3 to 5 years of proven sales experience in the alcohol beverage industry as an employee for a wholesaler or producer. Excellent problem solving, record keeping, and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and within a team to accomplish goals. Ability to multi-task. Minimum 40 hours per week with frequent night and weekend work. A valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and ability to drive around the state of Wisconsin. Ability to be present in age 21+ venues and establishments. Ability to pass a drug test. Willingness to submit to a criminal background check. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly. Must be familiar with the brewing industry and the beer distribution network. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Extras: Cicerone or other beer education completed programs or certifications. Bachelor's degree in associated field.
