We're seeking a second shift Production Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day production activities of the manufacturing process in accordance with GMP, USDA and FDA guidelines. In addition, the role is responsible for driving improvements in Safety, Quality & Cost. Shift: 1st Shift, 9:00a 5:00p OR 2nd Shift, 3:30p 12:00a What You'll Be Doing: Ensuring that all production tasks are performed in compliance with the applicable SOPs and outlines of production Implementing training programs for both new staff and existing staff. Training includes but is not limited to running machines, following SOPs and team skills Preparing all the required departmental reports on time related to production. (Ex: Daily, Weekly, Monthly Reports, Breakdown analysis, etc.) Responsible for achieving the key productivity deliverables for their team and for the coaching, development, and performance of employees within their team. Supports all aspects of Quality Assurance including good documentation practices, and provides coaching to the rest of their team. Your Areas of Knowledge: Minimum of 5 years experience in sanitation in food/dairy manufacturing processing or equivalent food plant experience, including 2 years of managerial duties.
