We are seeking a welder to join our team. The role will involve grinding, cutting, and welding steel components for bridges, buildings, and temporary support structures. The ideal candidate should have experience using a variety of welding techniques such as Mig, Tig, and Stick, and must adhere to all safety protocols while on the job. In addition to welding, the successful candidate will also perform general laborer duties as required. This position requires traveling to job sites regularly . Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to cut steel using a plasma cutter or torch Basic Math skills Attention to detail Education and Experience 1-3 years of welding/fabricating experience required Seasoned welders as well encouraged to apply Technical or trade school preferred Knowledge of AASHTO AWS D1.1 and D1.5 welding codes helpful but not required Safety Sensitive Position This is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring work on project sites, including federal projects, and in a heavy manufacturing facility with various safety hazards which are potentially life-threatening to the employee. This position may require working at heights, around heavy equipment, around high voltage, and under constantly changing circumstances. This position may also entail project site work at night and on weekends on an as needed basis. This position will be subject to more stringent drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a Federal Contractor. Are you self-motivated and goal-oriented?
