Job Overview: As a Welder Helper in Associated Scaffolding, you will be welding steel and aluminum components, and assisting with repairs on scaffold equipment. This position features competitive pay, starting at $18 up to $21 per hour according to the applicant's experience. Essential Duties & Responsibilities, but not limited to: Welding steel and aluminum components. Perform daily housekeeping tasks. Mobilize equipment using a forklift. Perform other miscellaneous assignments as directed by the supervisor. Attending on-site safety meetings. Qualifications & Skills Needed: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience welding steel and aluminum (MIG- TIG). Possess manual dexterity skills. Proficient knowledge of all aspects of welding. Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills in the English language. Be able to consistently lift 70 lbs. Without assistance. All candidates must submit to drug testing, a criminal background check, and an E-Verification of their eligibility to work in the US. Working Conditions Employees will spend long periods in a warehouse setting, exposed to cold or warm elements. The employee will consistently handle equipment for extended periods.
