Through these partnerships based on deeply held core values that have stayed with us for three generations, we build the projects that develop your communities.As a Welder/ fabricator, you will be responsible for the fabrication and welding needed to maintain heavy construction equipment and fleet at our new state-of-the-art shop in Spicer, MN. Essential Responsibilities: Responsible for rebuilding, repairing, and fabricating parts for all types of aggregate and asphalt production equipment, following specifications as directed by the maintenance schedule and adjusting as needed. This includes crushers, screen plants, and conveyors. Repair structural components on trucks and equipment following specifications. Works with other technicians and welders | fabricators to perform preventative maintenance and repairs. Maintain orderliness, cleanliness, and safety within the shop and work areas, ensuring all safety policies and procedures are practiced and enforced. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to read & understand prints, drawings, work orders, and written instructions to plan out work To reduce and prepare metals, you use a variety of hand and power tools and related equipment, such as a saw, shear, grinder, and small presses. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving ability with heavy equipment. Excellent mechanical | technical aptitude. Able to work independently in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. Ability to travel as needed. Must be a strong team player, able to work effectively with various people, personalities, skills, and organizational levels. Demonstrated ability to manage a wide variety of tasks and projects while maintaining ongoing open lines of communication regarding progress and expectations. Proficient within Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Outlook & Teams) and an ability to learn applicable business applications.
