Welder/Fabricator Immediate Full Time Opportunity for a Heavy Construction Equipment Welder/Fabricator Is this a great job for you? This position is great for self-motivated, hardworking, individuals who like daily challenges and a chance to continue to learn about equipment and technology What will you do? Welding/fabricating steal components using fixturing, working instructions, and blueprints in the maintenance and fabrication of a variety of heavy construction equipment and components Layout, position, square and secure parts prior to welding using a variety of welding techniques Provide solutions for unique business needs by customizing, modifying, or fabricating parts and equipment Demonstrate a commitment to safety by following all safety policy requirements including wearing required personal protective equipment Preform welds in all physical positions including overhead, horizontal and vertical Use and operate overhead cranes effectively What type of environment will you work in? As part of our team, you can expect to work and learn alongside a group of people with a variety of skills and experience - this is an excelling training opportunity! We take great pride in our well organized, state of the art shop located in the Central Minnesota area Do you have what it takes? Welder Certification preferred, but not required Ability to work within deadline requirements, including after hours and possibly weekend work occasionally Likes working as part of a team, but can also work with minimal supervision when needed Ability to read and follow intermediate measurements and instructions Good communication skills and attention to detail Experience is preferred, but also accepting entry level applicants with a desire to learn!
