The Role of the Weighbridge Operator: As the Weighbridge Operator you’ ll be joining a team of 15 Operatives at the companies Manchester Asphalt Plant. A busy plant, the Manchester site has 3 fitters and a rail discharge which see’ s in 7 deliveries a week. The role of Weighbridge Operator will see you carry out the operation of the Weighbridge. You’ ll work closely with your fellow colleagues to ensure your Weighbridge duties are carried out whilst maintaining a high standard of health and safety. This role is working on a shift basis of: Early one week and late the next. The Early shift is: 5:30am- 1:30pm, Late is: 8am- 4:45pm Monday to Friday. Working a Saturday 6am-2pm or a Sunday 7am-12pm. Weekends will be rotational, and you’ ll know in advance what shift you’ re working. As the Weighbridge Operator you may be required to work nights on customer request. Benefits of the Weighbridge Operator: Basic Salary of £26k-£30k. 23 days holiday + Bank Holidays increases with service Pension Well being support Permanently employed role Genuine career opportunities The Ideal Person for the Weighbridge Operator: Experience of working as a Weighbridge Operator in a similar production environment e. g.
