The YMCA of Northern Colorado has openings for experienced water fitness instructors and Silver Sneakers water fitness instructors at our Boulder YMCA. We want to offer more classes and can be flexible with times. If you are the type of person that builds community wherever you go and you love to teach water exercise - you will fit in well with our talented and diverse team of instructors. As a YMCA instructor you'll provide excellent service to members in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that promotes member wellness and engagement in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures. Requirements/Certifications: Water exercise certification CPR, First Aid, AED, nationally accredited certification (ACE, NETA, AFAA, NASM) in group fitness instruction OR YMCA Foundations of Group Exercise within 6 months of hire. At least one year of experience teaching group exercise classes preferred Salary range is $22-30/hour based on experience and availability. In addition, we offer a +10% differential for bilingual staff who test as fluent in Spanish and English. All YMCA of Northern Colorado part-time staff working 10+ hours each week are eligible to receive a free family membership. Staff who work 10+ hours a week earn 50% to 100% off our programs. That includes free YMCA traditional day camp, youth sports, learn to skate and swim lessons, and half off YMCA Camp Santa Maria overnight camp, personal training, specialty summer camps, and childcare. If you work 20+ hours a week, your benefits grow from there. Sick time is earned from day 1, and we make contributions of 10% of your salary to the YMCA Retirement Fund for eligible staff.
