Waste Connections is looking for General Laborer Helper to join the team at our location at our Gator Road TS in Ft Myers, FL.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Preform Maintenance around the site and facilities as neededPerform general labor duties around the hauling site.Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standardsPromote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practicesPerform miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 75 pounds. Moderate noise level.Exposure to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration.Work environment consists of constant exposure to machinery and occasional dusty areas.MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:Must be at least 18 years of age.Ability to work Monday - Friday starting at around 5:30 am. Approx. 45-50 hours a week, with overtime possibilities for our special events.
