Wash Plant Operator Asgard Resources is a rapidly growing sand processing company located in rural North Dakota looking for the right person to add to our team. Asgard is a leading provider of frac sand in North Dakota and has been operating since 2019.Asgard is seeking wash plant operators to maintain and operate a sand washing plant. This job will also include operating heavy equipment at times. Successful applicants will be trained on the specific equipment utilized at the facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performs machinery maintenance and repairs. Unplugs and shovels off conveyors and screens. Changes out screens, rollers, cone liners, etc. Repairs conveyor problems. Greases moving machine parts. Performs machinery set up and take down which includes, but not limited to, running cables and hoses, setting up blocks, assembling/disassembling machinery, operating skid steer to move parts, tarping, shoveling, etc. Keeps machinery area clean of debris and shovels. Operates equipment to include skid steer (and loader if trained). Moves excess materials from around the machinery. Perform daily workplace examinations Uses various equipment, hand and power tools. Performs job site clean-up Maintains all tools and equipment in a safe and clean condition. Other duties as assigned per supervisor Participate in safety meetings and trainings The employee is frequently required to sit, climb, and use hands to signal and handle equipment. The employee is required to stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move anywhere up to 50-75 lbs. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions; and extreme cold and/or heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Qualifications: Exceptional communication, both written and oral, and interpersonal abilities; organization and attention to detail Demonstrated ability to use mobile equipment like skid steers, manlifts, and loaders Ability to work both tactically and strategically Ability to read, write and speak English Ability to perform simple math calculation Ability to lift 50 lbs, shovel, and climb ladders/stairs Ability to work days or nights, 8-12 hr. shifts and OT may be required Ability to work independently or with a partner Ability to work outside in various degrees of weather Driver's License is preferred Job Posted by ApplicantPro
