Summary: Attention Students or Part Time seekers 20-25 hours a week. Winters Recreation is offering a flexible schedule after school/evening hours with ability to switch to days through the summer if desired. Saturday rotations working two per month from 8 am - 12 pm. Starting Wage $15 plus per hour. The Wash Bay Attendant is responsible for primarily washing and detailing golf carts and snowmobiles, this position may also include painting and washing of parts. This position operates power washer machinery, the position is subject to outside environmental conditions at times, noise, vibration, and wet conditions including some cleaning chemicals. Visual acuity is required for visual inspection involving small defects and/or small parts, operation of golf carts and snowmobile dolly's, motor vehicles and equipment, always observing general surroundings and safety. Duties and Responsibilities: Washing and detailing all units for sale and sold units Washing, scrubbing and preparing golf cart parts, may include painting Washing & detailing company vehicles as needed Maintaining wash bay equipment and a clean orderly department Operates and maintains wash bay machinery and supporting equipment Using and replenishing chemicals Maintain a clean and organized work area Follows all OSHA regulations and safety requirements for a safe work environment Performs related work assigned by supervisor as required Regular, reliable attendance necessary Required to work week days and weekends, as needed to meet business needs Performs daily wash bay operations and activities, working independently Follows standard procedures for cleaning and washing and ensures procedures are followed Assists with the training of new employees as needed Arranges carts and snowmobiles in the various shop bays as needed, to prevent freezing or other inclement weather-related problems Maintains cleanliness of service wash bay and maintains equipment used in the wash bay Ensures that the operations going through the wash bay meet the expectations of final inspections. Monitors all inventories related to wash bay operations and maintains adequate cleaning supplies in the wash bay, when inventory is low make sure to notify leadership All other duties assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Attention to detail Takes pride in their work Works well independently Positive attitude Able to safely lift 50 pounds and regularly stand, walk, stoop, and bend General knowledge of cleaning practices, supplies and equipment and the ability to use them economically and efficiently Ability to understand oral and written directions Ability to work a schedule which requires availability for week days and weekends .
