About the Position: The Warehouse Supervisor provides floor leadership through directing the work of team members in receiving, packing, and shipping. Responsibilities include specialized tasks such as training new employees in a specific function, role or project management within Operations. Task and Duties: As directed by management, organize team members to complete tasks according to procedures within time guidelines Train team members in specific functions, such as receiving, pulling, packing/shipping. Ensure that trainees clearly understand quality and performance levels expected in accomplishing their tasks Communicate Reliable Part's safety policies and safety programs in a uniform and consistent manner throughout our organization so that employee injuries and illnesses can be prevented and compliance with federal, state, provincial and local regulations can be achieved Proactively communicate with Management regarding any real or perceived discrepancies noted in the performance of specific tasks Understand and utilize warehouse management systems (ASW or Latitude) for optimum workflow and inventory management Working in concert with Management, achieve primary objectives of: Order Today - Ship Today Receiving compliance Order integrity and accuracy, including discrepancies Inventory integrity and control Responsible for all facets of the warehouse operations in Managers absence Must be able to pass certification of training on warehouse equipment where applicable (ie: fork truck, wave picker, pallet jack, etc) Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years Distribution Center Experience Demonstrated leadership ability Highly customer focused Demonstrated good judgment, professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentially Well organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Computer proficient Have good interpersonal and communication skills to be able to manage staff and their duties Benefits: This sales position earns a  competitive wage.
