Summary Shift: 1st or 3rd Pay: $16.00 per hour plus $1.00 for the shift differential Job Description Performs all work in a safe manner in accordance with safety policy. Accurately receives, stocks, picks, packages and ships materials through SAP for external and internal orders by due date. Checks and verifies accuracy of deliveries for material type, quantity of packages or skids, and destination address before signing acknowledgements with carriers. The crating and moving of heavy equipment. Documents all inventory movements according to established guidelines in SAP. Participates in team projects for continuous improvement, 5s organization, and quality. Maintains organization and cleanliness of Warehouse Qualifications • Minimum of three years’ experience in Warehousing or Material Handling. • The ability to lift fifty pounds and expert knowledge for the operations for all models of sit down fork lifts. • Must be able to work as a team player, under production pressure with changing priorities, work unplanned overtime and 24-hour on call for emergencies as required. • Ability to understand mathematical conversions in relation to unit of measures, and accurately audit materials in storage locations. • Must have expert skills to design and build custom crates for large equipment that requires the operation of a nail gun, radial saw, table saw, and general power tools. • Must be able to drive a twenty five foot box truck between locations with loads up to fifteen thousand pounds. • Ability to receive, issue, and transfer materials within established SAP guidelines. • Good written and verbal communication skills. • The ability to use all SAP inquiry tools for materials and export data to a spreadsheet. • Must be able to read drawings, understand Bill of Materials, ATP, and MRP. • Coordinate the logistics and process shipments for all types of freight carriers including exports according to policy.
