Job Purpose To help maintain the smooth flow of warehouse operations. Duties and responsibilities Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse Identifying any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notifying the supervisor. Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping. Prepare orders by pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area. Loading orders onto trucks for delivery. Preserves a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat. Qualifications High School Graduate Prior experience working in a warehouse. Ability to operate machinery (forklift, reach truck, floor scrubber, etc.) Ability to work independently and safely. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work cohesively as part of a team. Working conditions Ability to work in a variety of temperatures.
