JOB RESONSIBILITIES The Warehouse Associate is responsible for both shipping and receiving. Unload product from freight carriers and assemble and prepare product for delivery to customers. Reconcile all inbound and outbound product to appropriate documents. Notify Facility & Fleet Manager of all discrepancies and damages. The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to: Unload product delivered to the warehouse by manufacturers. Un-carton product and clean product for delivery and flag for repair. Inspect product for freight damage and notify Facility & Fleet Manager. Reconcile packing list to receiving ticket, reconcile product pulled from location to delivery ticket and notify Facility & Fleet Manager of any discrepancies. Mark cartons received with purchase order number and date. Complete location detail and record on receiving tickets. Place product in proper location as directed by Facility & Fleet Manager. Maintain clean and safe work area and dispose of cartons and trash. Assemble locks, glides, file rails and weight packages. The above duties may be supplemented occasionally with additional duties related to company objectives. Receiving of product into the Hedberg. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED Good written and verbal communications Customer service oriented Detail oriented Ability to complete paperwork accurately and clearly Ability to lift and move loads of up to 50 lbs. Ability to load and pack delivery trucks Ability to operate lift trucks and forklifts Ability to work in a team environment OTHER REQUIREMENTS Two+ years distribution/warehouse experience preferred.
