Job Overview:The Wage and Hour Class Action Associate Attorney will play a significant role in litigating cases while receiving mentorship from award-winning attorneys. They will draft legal documents, develop litigation strategies, and represent clients in depositions, motion hearings, and mediations, honing their skills through hands-on experience. Duties:Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Develop strategies to litigate wage and hour matters in state and federal courts.Represent clients in depositions, motion hearings, and mediations as part of a litigation team.Develop persuasive research, writing, and oral advocacy skills under mentorship.Take significant responsibility in managing their own docket of cases. Requirements:Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.Superior analytical and legal research skills. Education Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the California State Bar. Skills:Legal drafting and research.Litigation strategy development.Courtroom advocacy.Client representation.Analytical thinking.Oral and written communication.
