VP, Transportation Project Management Director - Sacramento, CA. Responsible for planning & mgmt of business units incl sales, business dvlpmt, substantial rail projects, & innovative business strategies. Review & approve consulting contracts & negotiate w/ partners & contractors for transportation infrastructure projects. Direct railway projects in the U.S. Mkt, dvlp operational & maintenance plans, manage approval processes & plans for rail regulatory authorities. Assess & dvlp safety cases according to applicable standards for certification of railways passenger services, & manage teams of highly-skilled individuals w/in the transportation industry. Advise on all commercial elements of procuring the railway system, incl track & system infrastructure, rolling stock & station construction. Bach's deg in Transportation Engg, Mechanical Engg, or Electronic Engg (or foreign equiv) & 5 yrs of related exp, incl exp in Railroad Infrastructure & Railroad Transportation Planning, reqd.
