This means that our team members can choose to work from our Santa Barbara office or remotely from home. Mission The Revenue Operations’ team’s mission is to establish and lead a dynamic, innovative, and highly effective Revenue Department at PayJunction, driving sustainable growth and profitability through strategic initiatives, customer-centric approaches, and data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities Revenue Acquisition and Expansion: Achieve specified revenue growth outlined in annual planning. Achieve specified Market Share Growth outlined in annual planning. Drive initiatives for acquiring new revenue sources and capitalizing on market opportunities. Develop and implement strategies for upselling and cross-selling to expand business with existing PayJunction customers. Regularly assess and optimize sales and marketing tactics to maximize revenue growth. Customer Relationship Management: Foster strong, long-term relationships with existing clients. Identify expansion opportunities by understanding evolving customer needs. Implement customer retention strategies for sustained business growth. Strategic Sales and Marketing Leadership: Provide strategic direction to sales and marketing teams. Ensure alignment with revenue acquisition and customer expansion goals. Innovate and adapt sales and marketing strategies to changing market dynamics. Performance Metrics and KPIs Management: Establish and monitor key performance indicators related to revenue acquisition and customer expansion. Regularly report on revenue performance, providing insights and action plans to the executive team. Market Analysis and Competitive Strategy: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify new revenue opportunities. Understand competitive threats and adapt business strategies accordingly. Team Development and Performance Optimization: Lead and mentor sales and marketing teams. Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Ensure team members are equipped with necessary skills and resources. Ensure department eNPS Score is consistently above 40. Partnership and Alliances: Leverage partnerships to open new revenue channels. Enhance offerings to existing customers through strategic collaborations. Collaborate with partners to develop joint strategies aligning with PayJunction's revenue goals. Qualifications Minimum of 10 years' progressive experience in revenue generation roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position, including 3 years in a VP role. Minimum 5 years' experience in payment processing, with a preference for more. Proven track record of surpassing revenue targets, particularly in technology or financial services. Experience in companies with over 100 employees as a W2 employee. Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred. Leadership experience with direct reports from leaders in sales, marketing, strategic partnerships, account management, and revenue operations teams. Proven involvement in strategic planning, identifying market opportunities, and driving business expansion. Fluent in Salesforce for creating reports & dashboards. Experience with Business Intelligence tools, such as Tableau, for data-driven decision-making. Understanding of marketing automation systems (HubSpot, Marketo, etc.) Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets for budgeting and financial forecasting. Strong understanding of Interchange fees and their impact. Knowledge of payment platforms and REST APIs in payment processing. Ability to interpret and use mathematical information and logic to make data-driven decisions.
