Virtual Construction Coordinator

Job Responsibilities: Primarily supports project teams in the field by coordinating BIM with trade partners during the early phases of construction. Periodic travel to job sites to meet with trades and resolve multi-discipline conflicts. Frequent use of platforms such as Navisworks to evaluate clash detections. Must have a solid understanding of best practices for setting up and managing BIM Coordination Reviews. Responsible for working with project teams to develop and execute BIM Execution Plans. Review project specifications and identify requirements related to BIM. Assist project teams with developing models for closeout and COBie data if required. Modeling building systems in Revit. Execute complex laser scanning projects that involve point cloud collection as well as post-processing. Assist with the model-based layout. Conduct a QC analysis of the systems that were virtually coordinated when installed. Must be a leader in learning and evaluating new technologies. Continuously participate in and lead training efforts. Required Qualifications: Minimum of a two-year degree, four-year degree preferred. Five or more years experience as a mechanical designer focusing on building construction. Must have a fundamental knowledge of Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Sprinkler Systems for buildings. Previous BIM/VDC responsibilities preferred. Some experience with laser scanning equipment and the use of point cloud data. Willingness to earn an FAA Part 107 Commercial Drone Pilot's License. Strong written and verbal communications skills. Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals. Ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed. Ability to work well as a part of a team and independently. Proficient with Autodesk Navisworks, Revit Systems, Revit Architecture, and Auto CAD Advanced knowledge of Autodesk ReCap, BIM 360, Microsoft Office, and 3D Visualization Programs Familiarization with Trimble Systems, Dynamo, Synchro 4D, Assemble, Drone Deploy, and Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
