Veterinary Neurology and Imaging of the Chesapeake is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician, VTS in Anesthesia and Analgesia, or RVT with anesthesia experience to our fast-paced specialty practice located within Chesapeake Veterinary Referral Center (CVRC) in Towson, Maryland. Candidates must have experience in all areas of anesthesia, including, but not limited to: anesthesia induction and intubation, monitoring, record keeping, knowledge of anesthetic medications, CRI calculations, sterile technique, and operating room preparation. The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of experience in a specialty hospital setting, or in a position with a high surgical caseload. We are looking to add a team player who has strong communication and time management skills. This role would support our advanced diagnostic imaging service (MRI and CT), as well as our surgical caseload for two full-time neurologists and one anesthesia veterinarian.
