About the job: The general practice veterinary technician will organize appointment rooms, perform procedures, and provide generalized assistance to our General Practice Doctors. How you'll make a difference: Run exam room appointments Client communication and education Providing patient care and administration of medications Perform procedures, labs, and general surgery assistance Assisting GP Doctors as needed What you will bring: Experience working as a Credentialed Veterinary Technician preferred Will consider candidates with 2+ years veterinary assistant experience or currently enrolled in veterinary program for a veterinary assistant position in the department Providing empathy, comfort, and unparalleled nursing care to all patients and their owners Positive outlook, ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected. Honesty, integrity, and a desire to learn and have fun!
