Aloro Pet Hospital is looking for a Medical Director to join our Veterinary team! Aloro Pet Hospital is a spacious facility that contains contemporary new lab equipment including full body and dental digital radiography and dedicated surgical suites. We are a family run clinic that has had a strong presence in the San Fernando Valley for over 20 years. Our team of trained support staff provides a bond-centered environment that is collaborative, exciting, and professionally challenging while keeping the service to our clients and their pets at the center of our focus. We are seeking a Medical Director who is enthusiastic and confident with leading and mentoring a hospital while providing champion veterinary skills. Living in Valley Village, CA Valley Village is located in the San Fernando Valley, just north of Hollywood. We are a walkable neighborhood and nearby have Studio City, Toluca Lake, and Sherman Oaks. Close to Warner Brothers Studio, it is a hub for those in the film industry. Valley Village has wonderful outdoor cafes, boutique shops and was once home to Marilyn Monroe! WHAT WE OFFER: Competitive Salary ($175,000 - $250,000 per year) Production Bonus Pay Relocation Assistance available Medical/Dental/Vision insurance Paid Time Off Continuing Education time off and reimbursement Employee Referral Program Financial Wellness Program 401K + company match Paid license fees, VIN/Plumbs membership, and Liability Insurance Work/Life Balance (me time) CORE RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS: Works with Associate DVMs, Hospital Manager and clinical teammates to ensure best clinical practices and high-quality medical care are being provided at the hospital Fosters a positive, healthy hospital culture, both through leading by example and by guiding the team through active feedback and managed accountability Supports excellence in client experience, working with DVMs and Practice Manager to address issues and promote training as needed Works collaboratively with HM and Regional Operations Director to proactively identify opportunities for growth and improvement of the hospital as well as clinical training for team COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE: Valid and in good standing licensed veterinarian within the state of California Requisite clinical privileges and DEA license 3-5 years of clinical experience Prior Medical Director experience, preferred Strong clinical skills and sound medical judgment Ability and desire to mentor and develop Associate DVM clinical skills, preferred Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent time-management and delegation abilities Exercises sound judgment and demonstrates exemplary decision-making skills Professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with others Apply today!
