As a Veterinary Client Service Coordinator, you are th e first friendly face our patients see upon arrival. Y ou have the ability to remain calm in stressful and sometimes emotional situations while confidently interacting with clients in person and on the phone. You thrive in a fast-paced environment in which you balance multiple tasks such as greeting clients and patients, data entry, requesting and sending medical records, managing a multi-line phone system, process payments, accurately schedule appoint ments and other administrative duties as needed. Effective communication with clients and medical staff is essential in this role.The ideal candidate has a genuine love for animals and a welcoming demeanor. The ability to be empathetic, compassionate and provide reassurance to worried pet owners is essential in this role. Basic required qualifications: High school diploma and a minimum of one year of customer service related work experience One year veterinary reception experience is preferred, however not required! Competent computer skills including reliable and consistent ability to enter data into medical records; effective working knowledge of MS-Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Type 45+ wpm and use 10-key calculator Work Schedule: Full-Time Swing shift currently available 4/10 Schedule Weekend and holiday availability required Perks: We offer a $3 swing shift differential Monthly in-house RACE-approved courses and staff development opportunities for all employees Get paid to learn! The rates above are our pay range for this role for all types of services we provide and all areas in which we do business in in California.
