Job Title: Valet Parking Coordinator location : Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Dayton, OH 45428 Job Type : Full-time Hours of Operations : From 7:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday Responsibilities: Assess the current parking situation at the VA Medical Center and develop a comprehensive valet parking plan. Operate from the hospital Main entrance driveway and offer valet parking services to Veteran patients and patient visitors. Park and/or provide assistance in parking vehicles for Veteran patients and patient visitors. Stop vehicles requiring valet parking and request patient identification (VA Patient Data Card with photo) and estimated time of departure. Secure drivers' keys at the valet booth. Maintain parking control and monitoring in designated parking lots, promptly responding to alerts, emergencies, and providing assistance to injured or stranded persons. Ensure sufficient staffing levels to meet the needs of the VA, considering fluctuating vehicle quantities during the contract period. Qualifications: Experience in providing valet parking services, preferably in a medical or healthcare facility. Knowledge of parking control and monitoring procedures. Ability to handle and secure keys, issue claim checks, and maintain the security of parked vehicles.
