UX Research Associate

Description:
The specific team works on innovative new tech with the aim of making communication feel present, immersive, and real, no matter where in the world you are. Several of the team's recent initiatives are pilot projects that are being used at scale for the first time. As UX Research Associate, you'll support the evaluation of these initiatives by collecting and analyzing user feedback and survey data. We're passionately interested in our users and strive to learn everything we can about their goals and needs, attitudes and emotions to help define the products and experiences we create. Overall Responsibilities: The UX Research Associate will conduct mixed-methods research using quantitative and qualitative methodologies (e.g., surveys, interviews, usability testing), analyze data, and report findings to cross-functional stakeholders across our wider team. Top 3 daily responsibilities: Manage survey fielding, analyze survey data, report findings. Plan and design UXR studies. Conduct mixed-methods UXR studies (e.g., usability testing, interviews), analyze data, and report findings Mandatory Skils / Qualifications: M.A/M.S or Ph.D. (completed) in Psychology, Sociology, Human Factors, HCI/Computer Science, or other related fields or equivalent practical experience 1-3 years of work experience or relevant graduate-school research experience Experience with Qualtrics or other survey fielding tools. Experience with SPSS, R, or other data cleaning & analysis tools. Non-Essential Skills / Qualifications: Ph.D. (completed) in Human Factors, Social Sciences, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, Product Design, or other field Strong knowledge of experimental design and statistical analysis Technical aptitude, familiarity with basic graphic and video editing tools. The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $55.63 to $61.81 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
