Primary Role Under direction of supervisor performs varied types of manual labor associated with the operation and maintenance of the water, wastewater, and stormwater facilities and appurtenances following company and the manufacturers', policies, procedures, and recommendations to ensure contractual, and environmental compliance. Key Accountabilities:Operation and routine maintenance on a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment such as pumps, pipelines, valves, motors, and appurtenances related to the water system:Operation and routine maintenance on a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment such as pumps, pipelines, valves, motors, and appurtenances related to the wastewater system facilities (netting/pumping) to minimize sewer system surcharging and overflows/bypasses during wet weather, and to prevent sewer system overflows/bypasses during dry weather.:Perform any of the regular maintenance and construction duties as needed and assigned, including hydro:cleaning and video inspection of wastewater and storm water mains and associated appurtenances.:Performs maintenance of the water/wastewater system and general housekeeping duties; calibrate, modify, or repair instrumentation and control equipment including recorders, flow meters, and other monitoring equipment.:Digs, fills, and tamps earth excavations; levels ground using pick, shovel, tamper and rake. Shovels concrete and snow; cleans culverts and ditches; cuts tree and brush; operates power lawnmowers:Performs other duties as assigned.:Follows Company Environment
