Urology physician job in Illinois : Join a busy, well-established urology hospital group located south of downtown Chicago, Illinois. The incoming physician will mentor medical students and residents and will have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: Ambulatory Clinic Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Three days in clinic and two days per week in surgery with dedicated OR time Many procedures are performed in the clinic including Cystoscopes, ultrasound, prostate biopsies, BCG, etc. excluding vasectomies. Average outpatient clinic volumes: 15 - 25 per day Call 1:2 with residents taking the first call. Inpatient rounding as needed. Minimum two years of teaching and leadership experience.
