Job Overview: Sanford Federal is looking for a qualified certified nursing assistant to support the mission of the Pittsburg VA Healthcare System. Job Details: Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (C.NA) Location : VA Hospital H J Heinz Campus at 1010 Delafield Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15215 Schedule: Full-Time/ Part-Time optional Requirements & Skills: Be a certified nursing assistant in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Be trained and experienced in hospital nursing. Have at least one-year experience working as a CNA. Be capable of providing nursing care for adult medical and surgical patients. Have and maintain current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification. Have no health or physical disability restrictions that interfere with the performance of assigned duties. Have documented training and skills verification. Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities: Answering patient calls and determining how best to help them. Providing physical support for patients or residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, - using the toilet, walking, standing, or exercising. Feeding The Patients Keeping A Regular Record of Vital Sign Set Up Medical Equipment Reminding patients to take medications and nutritional supplements. Examining patients to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine.
