Ethos Veterinary Urgent Care in Nashua, NH is seeking a dedicated, energetic, and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our outstanding team! Urgent Care Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday = 11 AM – 8 PM & Saturday – Sunday = 10 AM – 7 PM Anticipated Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts, every other weekend Week 1: Two 10-hour shifts between M-F + Sa/Su 10a-7p Week 2: M-Th 11a - 8p Benefits of working with Ethos Urgent Care: Highly competitive and comparable wages based on experience and skill set, $22- 28/hr . Partnership with Purdue VT program/scholarships VetBloom access: Race approved continuing education, training and curriculum library License application and renewal reimbursement for CVT's 50% Employee Pet Discount As a Veterinary Technician you will be responsible for: Triaging patients Obtaining and reporting vitals, prioritizing patient treatments and delegating tasks if needed Recognize changes in patient status and report to doctor Advise owners, prepare medications and discharge patients Collect samples, place IV catheters, prepare IV fluids and additives Utilizing different imaging modalities (radiographs,ultrasound) Calculating and administering medication, fluid additives, CRI's Administer and monitor patients for anesthetic/sedation procedures About You: 1-3 years of experience working in a veterinary hospital setting required. 1 year ER experience preferred. CVT preferred Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community is required. Positive outlook and ability to work well in a collaborative environment. Our Urgent Care centers bridge the gap between general practice and emergency. Our 2-doctor practices offer care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. Our urgent care centers are specially designed to deliver efficient care and are furnished with advanced equipment and technologies.
