Urgent Care NP or PA-PRN We are actively recruiting a PRN Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for our Lagrange and Hamilton, GA UrgenCare locations. Assess and treat patients with common acute conditions, illnesses, or minor trauma in collaboration with a physician. Educate patients and/or families about preventive care, positive behaviors, medical issues, and use of prescribed medical treatments and/or medications. Maintain legible, accurate, and confidential medical records. Document all medical evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, treatment, outcomes, education, and referrals. Serve as Medical Examiner and perform Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examinations and other occupational health exams. Prescribe medications within scope of license. Ability and willingness to work at least one weekend a month. Promote teamwork between clinical and administrative staff. Be able to work independently (under indirect supervision). Have the ability to use judgment to determine when a supervising physician should be consulted. Education and Experience Current licensure as a Certified Registered Family Nurse Practitioner or Current Licensure as a Physician Assistant. Licensed as an NP or PA in the state of Alabama. Have at least one year of experience (2+ preferred) as a provider in an emergency care setting or urgent care setting. Powered by JazzHR
