Hazelhurst located at 1011 South Green Street, Thomaston GA is looking for a Unit Manager to join our team! We believe our overall focus on the wellness of our residents and a commitment to making a difference is what sets us apart from others in our industry!In this role you will be assisting the Nursing Team in directing the day-to-day functions of the facility's nursing services and other areas of facility's operations as assigned. Experience Must have a minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience in a clinical setting. Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a staff nurse in a long-term care facility. Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices preferred. Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN in this state. Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agency personnel and the general public.Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
