Job requirements: Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property on foot patrols; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. Monitor and control access to restricted areas. Respond to requests for assistance related to safety and security. Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures. Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements. Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. EO Employer QUALIFICATIONS: Education Minimum High School graduate or GED equivalent. Experience Must be capable of understanding and carrying out routine instructions. Must be able to work weekends. Must have basic computer skills. Must be familiar with standard security concepts and procedures. Must have the physical capacity to perform required tasks including walking patrols. Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the client. Must possess acceptable verbal and written communication skills. Must have a pleasant personality; must be dependable. Works under general Supervision. Must have a valid driver's license with no serious violations. Must be able to pass a background check. Must be able to pass a drug test. If former military, you must be able to supply a DD-214 showing honorable discharge.
