Job Summary Price Benowitz, LLP is currently seeking a full-time Trusts and Estates Paralegal to join a growing team located in Washington, DC headquarters. The T&E Paralegal will focus on assisting the Trusts and Estates attorneys with cases to ensure the efficient and timely processing of all administrative processes associated with T&E cases. Must be able to work 9-6pm Eastern Time, but the position can be fully remote. Responsibilities and Duties Assist attorneys in all aspects of estate planning and administration, including drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents. Conduct legal research on various estate planning matters and stay updated on changes in laws and regulations. Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on their cases. Prepare and organize documents for client meetings, court filings, and other legal proceedings. Manage and maintain client files and electronic records with accuracy and confidentiality. Collaborate with attorneys and other staff members to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects. Qualifications and Skills Must have a minimum of 2 years of T&E paralegal experience. Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 plus years of relevant experience. Experience with Trusts and Estates matters and understanding of legal documents in Washington, DC, Maryland and District of Columbia considered a strong plus. Proficiency in Interactive Legal Services software or similar estate planning software is highly desirable. Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, and case management software. Excellent analytical abilities, communication, organization, and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
