NOTE: this job is a prevailing wage jobEnvironmental Quality Management, Inc. is a leading provider of environmental consulting, engineering and compliance, and remediation and construction management services to the industrial, public, and government sectors.Predominately drive a single-axle dump truck on a daily basis, hauling contaminated soil to the disposal facility and clean backfill soil; secondarily, operate excavators and/or skid steers in confined areas such as residential yards. The individual may be required to switch from one piece of equipment and back within the same day.• May perform physical labor on residential properties removing lead contaminated soil while truck is idle;• Must be capable of manual labor using shovels, rakes and brooms;• Requires working closely with 4 to 5 person crews as a team member;• Requires working outdoors under adverse weather conditions at times;• Company will provide personal safety equipment;• Must hold an OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER and 8-hour refresher;• Mandatory participation in medical monitoring program (including pre-employment physical with drug screen, and random testing),• Requires current valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and experience driving a truck in urban environment; and,• Minimum High School diploma/GED required.EQ conducts pre-employment drug screen and pre-employment physicals.
