Position Summary: The Treatment Program Coordinator position exists to provide professional program management for the treatment program. Program Mission: "The Treatment Court of Sweetwater County Supervised Treatment Program seeks to improve quality of life through the efficient and effective use of community resources that reduce the abuse of alcohol & drugs and related criminal activity." Program Values: Respect, Accountability, Support, Opportunity. Program Description: The Treatment Court of Sweetwater County Supervised Treatment Program offers a court-supervised, alternative sentencing program to offenders who meet program requirements. The Court Supervised Treatment Program requires the offender(1) to attend regular court status hearings before the Judge; (2) provides a 12/18-month structured treatment program; (3) uses intensive supervision and case management to guide defendant progress through the program; (4) requires mandatory and frequent drug/alcohol testing; (5) uses immediate sanctions and incentives to modify offender behavior in the program. Specific Duties: Must be able to facilitate and operate in a multidisciplinary team and/or group. Must be able to create and manage a yearly budget. Must provide supervision to staff member(s) of various disciplines. Must know grant-opportunity resources. Must have the ability to write and apply for grants. Must be able to act as a mediator between incentive/sanction options for clientele. Must be able to obtain and maintain good working relationships with other local agencies. Must manage the daily operations of the Treatment Court of Sweetwater County. PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a County job. Please review the Job Description below for a more replete list of functions.
