Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Manchester, New Hampshire. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: TravelFacility cannot accommodate RTO on the following dates: 7/4/24 - 7/11/14 13 weeks or until 9/7/24 end date accepted! REQUIRED SKILLS/CERTS/EXP: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years (Must have two years medsurg experience) Traveler Experience: No first time travelers Locals Accepted/Rate Difference: Travelers within 50 miles of facility will receive $15 rate decrease Skills: Med/Surg, Feeding tube care and management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, starting IVs, Nasal Cannula, EPIC Certs: BCLS PREFERRED SKILLS/CERTS/EXP: CPI, MS/Tele JOB DETAILS: Target Ratios: 1:5-6 Shift: 12hr Nights 7p-7:30a. 36hrs accepted! Call Requirement: None Float Requirement: EOW, Floating Expectations Helping Hands/Team Nursing approach Will assist in being Floated to ICU, ED, and other Medsurg Units Patient Sitting You will not take a patient that does not match your clinical assignment or team Weekend Requirement: EVERY OTHER WEEKEND REQUIRED. RTO Requirements: Must work 2/3 major winter holidays. Unit cannot approve both 12/24 and 12/25 off if requested, only one day for Christmas permitted PATIENT DIAGNOSES: (Medical patients with little surgery) Respiratory Sepsis End of Life Oncology GI SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Bladder scanner Stratus (interpreter) Vein Viewer Rectal probe monitor Phillips vital signs (Relaxation room for staff with massage chair, quiet and peaceful room) UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Omnicell, EPIC, bedside standardized shift report UNIT ORIENTATION: 36 hours - 1st day: tour, computer modules and then floor when finished. Day 2&3 - on floor with a nurse SCRUBS: Any *Travelers are not considered if they have been a former employee at any facility associated with Solution Health regardless of length of separation or duration of time worked at health system*Tact Medical Staffing Job ID.
