Description Specialization: Surgery Trauma Job Summary: HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital needs additional advanced practice providers to join our exceptional trauma team in Fort Pierce, FL. Qualified Candidates: Must be a board-certified physician assistant or nurse practitioner with first assist certification Must have excellent communication skills Busy Level II trauma center/program Nine trauma surgeons plus one plastic surgeon 10 advanced practice providers Position is primarily hospital-based and consists of 13 (12-14 hour) monthly shifts. These include both day and night shifts. With a dedicated night team with extra pay. Residents and medical students rotate through the division Incentive/Benefits Package: Competitive compensation package Comprehensive corporate benefits package, including health and 401k No state income tax About HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital: 430-bed acute-care hospital offering a full range of services ACS-COT/Florida DOH designated Level 2 adult trauma center 12-bed dedicated trauma ICU with 12 additional beds available in surgical ICU Most experienced heart institute on the Treasure Coast Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Comprehensive Stroke Center Lawnwood Pavilion, situated on campus, offers a 36-bed psychiatric facility and a 26-bed inpatient and outpatient physical rehabilitation center We invite you to bask in the tropical sun, where 21 miles of unspoiled beaches glisten and coax vacationers and residents alike to relax and enjoy.
