We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic Transportation Manager to enhance the efficiency of our transportation operations while adhering to budget constraints. This critical role involves leveraging data from multiple sources to generate actionable insights that drive smart decision-making. The perfect candidate will excel in analytical thinking, possess sharp business acumen, and have stellar written and verbal communication skills. Join us and play a vital role in optimizing our transportation strategies for a significant, positive impact. Job Responsibilities: Develop performance optimization suggestions related to dedicated networks. Develop and implement KPIs to maximize fleet utilization (turns per truck per week) across all fleets. Assist in developing policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality control and cost containment. Help develop recommendations on optimal fleet sizing (where to add/reduce trucks, trailers, etc.) and high-potential lanes for each fleet. Perform shipment assignment analysis (OTR, Dedicated, Fleet Backhaul, Hybrid). Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency, productivity, and processes. Maintain appropriate records and prepare reports. Coordinate logistics activities with internal/external stakeholders. Support additional projects as necessary. Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, or logistics is highly preferred; other relatable experiences are also applicable. 4 to 6 years of experience in Transportation Management. Dedicated transportation experience preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Advanced skills in: Excel/VBA, Power BI High level of business acumen and communication and presentation skills throughout varying levels of the organization, from line-level employees up to the C-suite Work Schedule This position is based in the vibrant city of Atlanta, GA, offering a dynamic hybrid work schedule.
