Peters and Yaffee, Inc. is currently seeking an Transportation Engineer to join our Roadway Group in our Jacksonville, Florida office.This is an excellent career opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented individual to join a team of outstanding professionals.The individual will work as part of a team in all facets of transportation engineering including design of roadway elements, development of maintenance and protection of traffic plans, and preparation of contract plans for a variety of project types and clients. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (with emphasis in Transportation preferred) 4+ years' experience designing and developing plans for roadway type projects Experience with FDOT Design Standards, Plans Preparation Manuals and Specifications Strong verbal and written communication skills a plus Microstation Experience including Geopak applications and an understanding of how to produce contract drawings Proficiency in MS Office software Desire to work in a team environment Professional Engineer is desired but must have a Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) minimum Peters and Yaffee, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/ Affirmative Action Employer.
