Position Overview You’re a confident and seasoned engineer in the gas utilities sector who’s a mastermind in design, operations, asset management, and a passionate champion of safety. You’re incredibly organized and excel in a dynamic environment involving multiple stakeholders, providing your strategic expertise and engaging your teams and partners to leverage diverse perspectives and incorporate all angles to achieve the best results. We need someone like you to be our Transmission Operations Engineer. In this role, you’ll work in collaboration with Transmission Operations and System Integrity groups to manage the lifecycle of our gas transmission pipelines, providing engineering oversight and acting as the engineer of record for repairs, rehabilitation, and resiliency work. In year 1, you will: Act as Engineer of Record for tasks such as integrity digs that involve repairs like pipeline replacements, cutouts, type A or type B sleeve installs, etc Assist Transmission Operations with inline inspection activities. Develop and review work procedures impacting Transmission Operations and ensure compliance with regulations, codes, standards, guidelines and industry best practices as they apply to the design, environment, safety, regulatory, construction, operation and maintenance.
