The candidate will provide legal counsel and support on transactional matters, including contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance. Duties:Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate filings.Conduct due diligence and research on legal issues related to transactions.Assist with negotiations and closings of transactions.Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on transactional matters.Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex transactions. Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the state bar in Middletown or eligibility for admission.Minimum of 4 years of experience in transactional law, preferably in a law firm setting.Strong understanding of corporate law and transactional processes. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the State Bar in Middletown or eligibility for admission.
